The firm has advised on banking and finance matters for several decades at the local, regional, and international level, acting for banks, funds, and financial institutions, as well as corporate borrowers and investors, in Jordan and abroad. Its work includes the incorporation and licensing of banks and financial institutions, obtaining the required regulatory and governmental consents, and advising on day-to-day banking operations. It also advises banks, payment service providers, and fintech companies on the licensing and regulation of digital financial services. On the financing side, the firm advises on bilateral and syndicated facilities, security arrangements, and structured, cross-border, and project financings, including transactions valued in the hundreds of millions of US dollars. It advises on compliance with the requirements of the Central Bank of Jordan and other competent authorities and, on multi-jurisdictional transactions, works alongside counsel in the other jurisdictions involved.
